How to generate a new enrolment link for a device?

This guide shows you how to share the enrollment link to a new device so that it has access to your company's configuration and data.

To get started:

  1. Navigate to the Device option of the Maintenance Menu.

  2. Select the corresponding device from the Table of created devices that you wish to enroll (If the device you are looking for has not yet been created, please read up on Creating a new device.)

  1. Select the "SHARE ENROLLMENT" option available from the pop-up menu ->

  1. The next step requires you to declare the Device Type, Share Method and App Launcher. Refer to the table below for details on each option ->

REQUIREMENT
OPTIONS

Recipient Device Type - This refers to the type of device that is being added ->

Android, iOS, MacBook, Windows.

Share Method- This refers to the method in which the enrollment link will be sent to the "new device"

Email - Select this option to send the enrollment link to the recipients email address

SMS - Select this option to send the enrollment link via SMS to the recipients cellphone number.

Local - Select this option to display the corresponding enrollment link and QR code on the screen of the current device.

App Launcher

  1. Select the correct option from each of the drop downs and then select Submit. Please read up on the guidelines below when choosing a share method

Using the 'Local' share method to sign in using the QR code

If you are using a Mobile Device (smartphone or tablet), select Local as the share method and then select Submit.

This will then display the screen shown below, whereby the user can simply scan the QR code to enroll the new device.

Using the 'e-mail' share method for desktop users

If the new device is a laptop/desktop, select Email as the share method and then select Submit.

This will then display the screen shown below, whereby the user specify the email address and recipient name.

The email will contain both the Enrollment Link and the QR code as shown in the screenshots below:

Using the 'SMS' share method

If the new device is a Mobile Device linked to a functional cellphone number, select SMS as the share method and then select Submit.

This will then display the screen shown below, whereby the user will specify the Cellphone Number and the SMS text.

This method will send a short link via SMS. When the link /URL is selected, the enrollment will happen automatically.

That is it, it is that simple to enroll your device

Additional Containers
Start by selecting a device that you wish to enroll.
Select the Share Enrollment option.
In order to share the enrollment, please enter the device type, share method and app launcher.
The q code will be shared on screen for the user to scan.
The format of the email you will receive.
Simply type in the cellphone number and specify the message.
