Step 1 - Create a New Device in Mobiloan

  1. Navigate to the Device option in the Maintenance Menu. A management user can perform this step if you currently don't have access to or the role-right to do so.

Enter the Device Name and the default operator (which should have been setup before in Maintenance -> User

  1. The device may should have now been successfully created in Mobiloan. The next step would be to Share the Enrollment Link.


Step 2 - Share the Enrolment Link

  1. The next step requires you to select the Device Type, Share Method and App Launcher. Refer to the table below for details on each option ->

Device Type: This refers to the type of device that is being added.

  • Android, iOS,

  • MacBook, Windows.

Share Method: This refers to the method in which the enrollment link will be sent to the "New Device"

  • Email - Select this option to send the enrollment link to the recipients email address

  • SMS - Select this option to send the enrollment link via SMS to the recipients cellphone number.

  • Local - Select this option to display the corresponding enrollment link and QR code on the screen of the current device.

App Launcher

  • Select Mobiloan (unless you have an alternate container number: i.e. Mobiloan 1, Mobiloan 2 ...)

Using the 'Local' share method to sign in using the QR code

  • If you are using a Mobile Device (smartphone or tablet), select Local as the share method and then select Submit.

  • This will then display the screen shown below, whereby the user can simply scan the QR code to enroll the new device.

Using the 'e-mail' share method for desktop users

  • If the new device is a laptop/desktop, select Email as the share method and then select Submit.

  • This will then display the screen shown below, whereby the user specify the email address and recipient name.

The email will contain both the Enrollment Link and the QR code as shown in the screenshots below:

Using the 'SMS' share method

  • If the new device is a Mobile Device linked to a functional cellphone number, select SMS as the share method and then select Submit.

  • This will then display the screen shown below, whereby the user will specify the Cellphone Number and the SMS text.

This method will send a short link via SMS. When the link /URL is selected, the enrollment will happen automatically.


Step 3 - Download Mobiloan on your Device

If you're downloading on Windows, click the link to download

To download the application on your iOS (iPhone) or Android device, search for "Mobiloan" in the App Store.
